Dominos Maniquin
For this project, we were tasked with selecting a brand to represent through a mannequin display, including choosing the clothing, style and mannequin, as well as designing and making the garments.
I chose Domino’s, focusing on the brand’s use of recycling and its recognisable visual identity. To reflect this, the entire outfit was constructed from recycled Domino’s pizza boxes, reusing the packaging to create a new form of wearable design.

We chose a streetwear style to reflect Domino’s casual, youthful and accessible brand identity, while the relaxed, slouchy mannequin helped reinforce this informal and contemporary aesthetic. I used a simple construction approach for the hat and top, cutting out recognisable slogans, graphics and logos from the pizza boxes and piecing them together using hot glue. To complete the outfit, I incorporated an old pair of denim dungarees, which I customised with pizza-box-inspired stickers designed in Adobe Illustrator. These were arranged across the denim to create a patchwork effect, combining the recycled materials with the familiar visual language of the brand.
