Summit one Vanderbilt window display

This is a window display I created while studying abroad at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. For the project, we were tasked with selecting a brand or location to advertise and designing a window display around it. My team chose Summit One Vanderbilt, an immersive observation experience at the top of the One Vanderbilt skyscraper in NYC.

As the theme of the installation is “Air,” we positioned the mannequin to appear as though she was floating, suspending her with invisible string. Mirrors were used to create the illusion of height, placing her among clouds above a city skyline. We incorporated reflective silver spheres—matching the ones featured in the real Summit experience—to enhance the immersive, dreamlike quality of the scene.
